The Hotel Thüringer Hof is conveniently situated in Vienna’s 18th district, within walking distance of an underground station and about a 15-minute walk from the Ring Road, the University of Vienna and the architecturally interesting Votive Church.
The house was built at the turn of the previous century in the style of an old Viennese middle-class residence and has been privately owned since 1971. In 1985 the house complex was completely renovated, and in 1988 an elegant and fully equipped conference hall for up to 100 people, a cosy lounge with reading room and an attractive bar with a roof terrace and a panoramic view of the famous St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Votive Church and the Town Hall were added.

Towards the end of the nineteen eighties the house complex was completely renovated, to M-star status. An old house, lovingly restored to golden glory has become one of the landmarks of the 8th district in Vienna.
Situated on Jörgerstrasse we are just a mere 15 minute walk away from Ringstrasse or the University. With a subway stop in our direct vicinity we are favourably located as regards transports facilities.
